First turbine blades arrive at Nullagine
The first turbine components are making their way to Fortescue's first operational wind farm.
The first turbine components have arrived for Fortescue's Nullagine Wind Project, marking another milestone in the delivery of our first operational wind farm.
Following their arrival in Port Hedland, the components are now making their way to the project site near Nullagine, where construction will continue over the coming months.
Once complete, the 133 megawatt (MW) Nullagine Wind Project will comprise 17 wind turbines supplied by Envision Energy and installed using Nabrawind's self-erecting tower technology.
The project will establish the foundation for a broader portfolio of wind generation across the Pilbara. As part of our Green Grid, the turbines will work alongside solar generation, battery storage and transmission infrastructure to help power our operations with reliable renewable energy and support our Real Zero target.
