Fortescue Showcases Green Energy Vision at World Hydrogen Summit in Rotterdam
Fortescue hosted a delegation of global government and industry leaders aboard our vessel, the Green Pioneer, in Rotterdam during the 2025 World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition.
The World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition is dedicated to advanced technologies for the hydrogen and fuel-cell industry. This event gave governments and leading hydrogen companies a valuable opportunity to collaborate and expedite the integration of hydrogen technology for the future
Among the distinguished guests were the Hon Amber-Jade Sanderson MLA, Western Australian Minister for Energy and Decarbonisation; Dr Greg French, Australian Ambassador to the Netherlands; the Austrade delegation; and partners from Brazil’s State of Ceará.
The event was an opportunity to hear about Western Australia’s renewable energy strategy, and its role in attracting investment to advance the “Made in WA” industrial agenda. The aim is to build a future-ready industrial sector focused on green iron and steel. We welcomed the opportunity to discuss our strategic plans and forge new partnerships for the road ahead.
