Our Opportunity

Work Location: Cloudbreak – Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.

Roster: 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth, Busselton, Broome, Karratha, Port Hedland, Fitzroy Crossing and Kununurra.

Cloudbreak is seeking an experienced Supervisor Operations - Water Services to lead the safe, compliant and reliable day-to-day operation of water treatment plants and associated water services infrastructure. The role will lead employees, contractors and service providers, coordinate onsite fuel delivery activities, and work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Planning and Water Management teams to maintain operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of water treatment plants, pumps, bores, pipelines, dams, storage systems and related infrastructure.
• Monitor plant performance, water quality, chemical dosing, alarms, levels, flows, pressures and equipment condition.
• Coordinate safe onsite fuel deliveries, including scheduling, access controls, transfer activities and spill prevention.
• Lead and support employees, contractors and service providers, setting clear expectations for safe and disciplined work.
• Plan and prioritise routine, planned, corrective and breakdown work with Planning, Maintenance, Engineering and Logistics.
• Create, review and close work orders, notifications, inspections and operational records in SAP and Fiori.
• Maintain operational continuity during outages, equipment failures, extreme weather and supply interruptions.
• Build an accountable team through field leadership, coaching, toolbox talks, competency verification and feedback.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience supervising operations in mining, utilities, water treatment or heavy industry.
• Experience operating or overseeing water treatment systems, pumps, pipelines, bores, dams and storage assets.
• Experience coordinating fuel deliveries or hazardous-material logistics in line with site and environmental controls.
• Working knowledge of SAP, Fiori and site work management and reporting systems.
• Relevant trade, technical or operational qualification; water treatment or chemical handling experience is desirable.
• Strong planning, organisation, written reporting and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, environmental responsibility and continuous improvement.
• Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor appointment required/current.
