Power, when and where it's needed
Renewable energy moves. Operations don’t.
The sun sets. The wind shifts. Demand doesn’t.
Batteries store renewable power when it’s available. Transmission moves it where it’s needed. Together, they turn renewable generation into power for real operations.
Storing power at scale
We’re deploying large-scale battery energy storage systems across our operations.
They capture renewable energy when it’s available and release it when it’s needed - keeping power flowing when generation drops.
Around 5GWh of battery storage will be rolled out across multiple installations. That’s enough energy to power a city the size of Perth for several hours.
Engineered for Pilbara conditions, these systems use liquid cooling to support safety, reliability and performance.
Moving energy across operations
Power only matters if it can get to where it’s needed.
We’re building a high-voltage transmission network to connect our sites and move energy across operations in real time.
More than 480 kilometres of transmission is already in place.

The backbone of the system
Storage holds the power. Transmission gets it to work.
Together, they turn solar and wind into a system - one built to keep operations moving without relying on fossil fuels.
