About the Role:
Fortescue is seeking a motivated Mobile Maintenance Specialist to join our Mobile Maintenance team. Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Manager, you will coordinate business improvement initiatives, support technology solutions, and help deliver cost savings and operational improvements across the department.
Working closely with leaders and cost centre owners, you'll monitor key initiatives, provide performance insights, support digital systems, and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and decarbonisation outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track business improvement initiatives and cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor progress through the Eureka platform and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of business applications and digital technologies.
- Analyse operational data to identify improvement opportunities and optimise performance.
- Assist with resolving technology-related issues impacting operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and decarbonisation initiatives across Mobile Maintenance.
- Build strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a mining or heavy industry environment.
- Experience in business improvement, project coordination, or continuous improvement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Experience using Safety Management and Business Improvement systems.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
