Autonomy at scale.

Solomon was built for performance. Now it’s helping build the future of mining.

Located near the Hamersley Ranges in Western Australia’s Pilbara region, on Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi Country, Solomon has been delivering since first ore in 2012. Today, it operates two ore processing facilities and one of the most advanced autonomous mining fleets in the country.

More than 80% of haul trucks on site already operate autonomously, coordinated remotely from our HIVE operations centre in Perth.

Now the site is accelerating another shift. Scaling renewable energy infrastructure, deploying new electrical systems and helping prove heavy industry can operate with less diesel and more control.

Because the future of mining won’t just be automated. It will be fossil fuel free.

Decarbonisation at Solomon

Renewable energy infrastructure. Autonomous systems. Electrification projects at scale. Solomon is reshaping how heavy industry operates.

This isn’t a pilot program sitting on the sidelines. It’s real infrastructure being deployed across real operations right now.

    Scale that matters

Our 440MW Solomon Airport Solar Farm is under construction. It will deliver around one-third of the solar capacity needed to achieve Real Zero across our Australian terrestrial operations by 2030. That’s not incremental change. That’s system-level impact.

    From grid to ground

Electrical reticulation infrastructure is being built across Solomon to move renewable energy directly into operations. The goal is simple: get clean power exactly where it’s needed, at scale.

  • Power connected

A new high-voltage transmission line linking Solomon and Eliwana has recently completed construction, enabling renewable energy to flow across operations and strengthening long-term energy reliability across the Pilbara network. Built to deliver power where it’s needed. Built to scale what works.

    Built. Tested. Proven.

Autonomous haulage systems and next-generation electric heavy mobile equipment are being tested at Solomon in real operating conditions. Not theory. Not prototypes parked in a warehouse. Real technology built for real mining operations.

Help build what comes next

We’re scaling renewable energy. Electrifying mining equipment. Deploying autonomous systems across our operations.

And Solomon is helping lead that transformation.
